How Banterfly works
A room of six,
one good question.
Three women and three men join one live room. The room begins together and no public list reveals who is waiting.
- Bring one question. It is checked for safety before the live queue.
- Answer all three questions from the other side, and rate each question.
- Read the answers. Rate them, then choose one person — or deliberately choose no one.
- Mutual choices connect. The pair is revealed, chat opens for both people, and each can see the other’s fuller profile.
Score
Each round earns points from question ratings, answer ratings, the choice you make, and how many people choose you.
Across completed rounds, BFScore is calculated as total points divided by the square root of the number of rounds: S / √N, where S is all completed-round points and N is completed rounds.
Choosing, including choosing no one, earns 1 point. A mutual choice earns 2 points. No choice before time runs out earns 0.
The sole top scorer wins the room. If that winner has 31+ points, they earn a bonus game. A tie for first means there is no winner and no bonus.
